Major Lazer | Electro, Reggae, Trap

SHOUTOUT TO DIPLO FOR PRODUCER OF THE YEAR IN THE GRAMMYS 2013
Major Lazer is comprised of Diplo, Jillionaire, and Walshy Fire

Diplo has had his hands all over, but this time as a collab with his partner, Switch. Major Lazer, have taken the smooth alternative vibe of Hot Chip’s Look At Where We Are and morphed it into some sort of futuristic space alien fighting Rasta reggae jam.
Hot Chip - Look At Where We Are (Major Lazer Extended Remix)

Major Lazer ft Flux Pavilion - Jah No Partial
Here, Major Lazer collide with dubstep heavyweight Flux Pavilion on their single.

Major Lazer has decided to Trap things up with their latest remix of The Prodigy‘s ‘Smack My Bitch Up‘. Diplo seems to be all about making Trap these days, and with the consistently quirky and energetic tracks he puts out on a regular basis, it’s hard to disagree with anything he decides to make. One would never consider putting a Trap beat over a crazy breakbeat classic like ‘Smack My Bitch Up’, but Major Lazer does it flawlessly and with as much energy as possible.

No Doubt coincide the release of their sixth studio album Push and Shove today by offering up the visual treatment for the LP's title track featuring Busy Signal & Major Lazer. Watch the clip above and Push and Shove is out now.

Röyksopp: Running To The Sea (feat. Susanne Sundfør) & Ice Machine(Depeche Mode Cover) [Live on Lydverket] | Video

Röyksopp is a genius music duo and on their website, they have shared a video of them performing a new song. "Running to the Sea" is a collaborative track with Norway singer Susanne Sundfør. Check out their performance from the Norway TV show "Lydverket" below.
Here's what the band writes about working with Sundfør:
"Initially, we thought about performing a pure cover version, but the chemistry and vibes between the three of us was out of the ordinary, which led us to put together a new track from scratch. The song 'Running to the Sea' was written and recorded in two days, just in time for the TV performance.
"Susanne possesses a unique combination of distinctiveness and international talent, unique far beyond the borders of Norway. In addition, she has insightful knowledge on cooking inside a pit dug out of the ground."
The duo say that the track will be released soon.

Edit: They have just released another video of the second song that was performed(Live on Lydverket). A cover of Depeche Mode's song.

Pacific Air: Float | Remix

I have posted Pacific Air's Float' Remix as Song Of The Day previously. It's just that, the band was named Ko Ko that time. Now they have changed their name to Pacific Air and slightly change their song 'Float' that was featured.

A couple days back, I got a remix from RAC which blew my mind. I want you to listen and enjoy this beautiful music. This remix from RAC is very different from all the other RAC's remixes. Don't expect anything short of amazing on this one.

Another Remix I have is by TheFatRat
Pacific Air - Float (TheFatRat Remix)

The Remix that I posted last time was of Sound Remedy, still a favorite.
